This is a privacy policy, not a roast. It is supposed to be boring and true.

Privacy Policy

TriangleTruth is a satirical website at triangletruth.com. We roast models that put a citation in the sentence. We do not run an account system, a real waitlist, comments, ads, or a product that needs your data to pretend it has a docket.

Last updated: 17 August 2026.

What we collect

Almost nothing from a normal visit. There is no signup form. There is no newsletter that actually stores your email. Comments are off. If you just read the site, we are not building a dossier.

What a server sees anyway. Like every site, the host may log technical leftovers: IP address, browser, pages requested, date and time. That is how the internet works, not a research method. We do not sell it. We do not turn it into an exhibit.

If you email us. Mail sent to clerk@triangletruth.com contains whatever you put in it. We will use that to reply, if we reply. We will not add you to a sequence. We do not have a sequence.

If you run the site. Logging into WordPress sets authentication cookies. That is for the people with the password, not for visitors.

The Stand and the Oath

The Stand lets you paste a transcript, a claim, or other text so Vera can roast it. The Oath is a ten-question quiz. Both run in your browser. We do not send that text or those answers to our server. We do not store them. We do not keep a victim wall. When you close the tab, the deposition is over. A local counter of how many times you used the Stand may live in your browser. That is your lamp, not ours.

Do not paste passwords, private messages, or anyone else’s private information into the Stand. A roast is not a drop box.

Cookies

The public site does not run a marketing pixel, a retargeting tag, or an analytics product we installed to watch you. Caching software on the host (currently LiteSpeed Cache) may set a technical cookie so the pages load faster. WordPress may set cookies if you log in. We do not use cookies to profile liars. We do not need cookies for that. You already posted the completion.

Third parties

The domain and hosting stack are run by other companies (including the registrar and the WordPress host). They process whatever a host has to process to keep a website online.

The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. That means Google may see that your browser requested those files, including a technical address, the same way it would if you visited any other page that uses their font service. We are not hiding a hidden SaaS underneath the joke. That one is on the page in the source.

What we do not do

How long we keep things

Server logs live as long as the host keeps them. Email lives as long as a normal inbox lives. Stand text and quiz answers are not kept by us, because they never arrive. If this site goes away, so does most of this. There is no warehouse of waitlist souls, and there is no drawer of leftover transcripts.

Your choices

You can leave. You can block cookies in your browser. You can block third-party font requests. You can email clerk@triangletruth.com if you want us to delete an email you sent, or if you have a privacy question that is not a take.

If you are in a place with formal data-protection rights (including the EU, UK, or California), you can ask us what we have on you. For a typical visitor, the honest answer is: probably just whatever a web server logged, if it still exists. Not the thing you typed into the Stand.

Children

This site is not for children. Do not send us information about a child. Do not put a child’s information in the Stand.

Changes

If we add a real waitlist, comments, analytics, a server-side Stand, or anything else that actually collects you, we will update this page. Until then, do not screenshot the waitlist joke and call it a data-processing agreement.

— Vera City, and the people running the bench, which is still just the people running TriangleTruth.
